Today I’m really excited to tell you about a project that I’ve been working with for a couple of months togehter with Photowall and five favorite artists/designers: Mogu Takahashi, Kindra Murphy, Klara Bothén, Cecilia Pettersson and Steffie Brocoli.
The project is called Curated by Fine Little Day and it is a collection of wallpapers from above mentioned artist, selected by me. The wallpapers will be presented here and at Photowall’s blog – five days, five designs.
At first sight Colorform hits you like a classical medallion wallpaper. But look again, the details. I love Kindra’s playful, rough and sophisticated style, always with a good sense of humour.
Kindra Murphy is a practicing designer and Professor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where she has taught Graphic Design since 2002. She has worked as a designer for Urban Outfitters, the Walker Art Center and Maine College of Art. Kindra’s print ephemera collection, vernacular signage and humorous odds-n-edds make their way into both her professional and self-initiated projects. Her work and her collections have been published both nationally and internationally.
What a great way to start this project. Find Colorform in three color ways – green, yellow and mint.
And be sure to peep in tomorrow as well when my fellow studio friend, Klara Bothén’s wallpaper will be launched!

(Oh and thanks for all film tips in my last post. Going to be a great summer).
