Country houses

It is peak season for selling and buying country houses in Sweden right now. Even though I got the nicest country house I could ever imagine I’m still there, browsing the site Hemnet. Dreaming and furnishing in my imagination.

Some of them you wouldn’t have to furnish though like this amazing one. Look at the potpourri of patterns and details (notice the double tv).

Even more photos here.

A couple of other ones with potential. 1, 2, 3 and 4

Oh! Number 2 is my favorite. What a cute shape outside and with the exception of that weird room (bathroom?) it was pretty cute inside as well, though it looked to be kind of small.

They are so beautiful! First impression was that they were pictures of dollhouses interiors! Oh, if I only didn’t live in the opposite corner of this little planet…sigh!

It is so nice to see how beautifully people prepare their houses for selling. If you like this vintage style they seem ready to move in imediately.
I’ve just converted to euros, they so seem so affordable. Here you could buy a ruin for this price.

Indeed you can really find treasures cheap in some parts of Sweden. In Småland for example, where we have our house. About 2 1/2 hours drive from Gothenburg. Reasonable in several ways.

oooh lovely colour palette of the house featured in the post. I think that tis one might be my favourite besides yours of course!

You would make a great realestate person by the way ;)

  11. I know exactly what you mean. We have a house at Savsjo (near Bodafors) and we’re almost done decorating, wallpapering, painting, etc… We don’t know what to do when it’s finished. Enjoy what we have or buy another one to start all over again. Have a look at http://www.zweden.pro.
