Lately

Always, watched by fuzzy faces.

Great assignments ahead, Fine Little Day has started a collaboration with Gysinge Byggnadsvård which feels so right and fun! Gysinge Byggnadsvård are not only working for preserving and create sustainability in old and modern homes but are also producing livable materials and furnishings for the same.  We will produce a bunch of photos for them to use in their channels.

The Väva Spis exhibition landed in our studio in Lindome. Next stop will be at Nääs Fabriker 21/4 – 20/5 2018

More about Väva Spis here and here.

Fine Little Day + GRANIT

Hej, I’m happy to show some peeps of my and Fine Little Day’s collaboration with Swedish company GRANIT. A green rabbit forest-kids line with textile, cardboard- and paper products which will be released in store, 10 December. Can’t wait to try it all out on my 1 1/2 year old niece!

News, an essay and life

Hello how are you, are you still there? It’s been a while, many things popped up during the way the last couple of weeks, life for example.

As for the other things happening a new poster has landed in the shop, model large 70×100 cm. The name is Skog (forest in Swedish) and is photographed in the deepest of Småland (Nyholm, Bodafors) in Sweden. Also a bunch of new GRAN products arrived: Aprons for kids, as well as for grownups, tablecloths, kitchen towels, napkins AND fabric. Which means you’re able to get it by meter and make what you want.

I’ve also written an essay for Swedish ADA (only in Swedish sorry).

Om att berätta om sig själv på ett halvrelevant vis, bygga sitt eget varumärke och vara fast i en fåfäng jag-fixerad Instagramkultur. Typ. Läs krönikan här.

Also new, the square shaped Rainbow poster.

House of Rym news

House of Rym is a Tunisian company, founded by Rym Tounsi and Zied Youssef. In 2011 Rym and Zied invited me and my colleague Anna Backlund over to Tunisia and gave us the assignment to start a new brand, the brand become House of Rym. ”Built on a love affair. Between contemporary design and ancient handcraft. Between Sweden and Tunisia. Between intriguing aesthetics and sustainable materials.”

Since then House of Rym has extended their collection and added a range of clever designers. Above team: Emma von Brömssen, Cecilia Pettersson, Elisabeth Dunker, Karin Strömberg (new for this year) and Anna Backlund.

If you can’t wait for more House of Rym news peeps, check out their Instagram or Facebook.

House of Rym’s store in Stockholm

If you are in, or plan to visit Stockholm in the nearest future you should stop by the brand new House of Rym store! The shop is located on Hornsgatan 73 and is runned by the eminent Piia aka frkgul.

Exquisite lemon lemonade and crusts were served at the press event a couple of days ago, and the host Isabelle Mcallister talked to the whole gang of House of Rym designers: Anna Backlund, Cecilia Pettersson, Emma von Brömssen (new talante for this year), Karin Strömberg (coming next year) and me.

As you can see the store carries a range of Fine Little Day products as well, which we are very glad for!
