A couple of days ago me and Fine Little Day store colleague @peggylainen jumped on a plane to Germany to visit graphic designer and illustrator Swantje Hinrichsen aka @swantjeundfrieda, who lives in an old brick house in Münster. We were suppose to shoot a part of Fine Little Day store’s new catalogue there, and also do a little home tour.
I was planning to write something about Swantje’s education, career etc. in this post but I I’ll skip it, you can google that.
Just want to tell that I found a “refrigerator friend” in Swantje. A term originated (I believe) in the book “Bowling Alone“. That would be a friend who can walk right in the door, open up your refrigerator and look for something to eat, without thinking much about it. The thing is we spent hours and hours at this place without realizing it, and also got our life’s most tastiest Avocado cake. The lady sure had a the gift of hospitality, this was a place where to feel free to be yourself. We had a good time, thanks again Swantje!
The weekend was good. A lot thanks to the nice weather, smooth arrangements, dear friends and the hotel I had the luxury to stay at (through Blogger’s Inn). Scandic Grand Hotel is a new hotel but the house dating back to the 1800s. The interior – urban industrial lifestyle style. Eclectic, arty, wood, tiles, a lot of brass details. Everything very well thought through, but in a laid back sense. The concept also flirts with the theatre neighbourhood. As said, I got seduced.
Also fell for Andreas Braun’s art which hanged in the cafe’ part. Andreas actually hold his first vernissage ever this weekend. And I bought a painting.
No webpage yet for Andreas. But soon?
Yes Stockholm treated me well. The Moderna Museet, Fotografiska, Konst-ig, Deborah and more.

Nice Darling Clementine’s news.
I’m privileged enough to be able to visit peoples homes sometimes at work. I do love when the person(s) who lives there has a personality showing in their home. The best days are when they let me in to their everyday life and show me around unconditionally. A couple of days ago I had a moment like that.
It was a portrait job for a magazine. Afterwords I had the opportunity to go around and look in the apartment (yes I asked, I always ask). Just that kind of warm and interesting home that I like. Filled with personality and treasures from a lifetime of collecting. Oh quality time.
Thanks for cheering around the new poster, and thank you for all orders! They will be sent from here about 1-2 weeks :)
I guess you know about Kickstarter “the world’s largest funding platform for creative projects”. It’s such a good idea. You can support ideas like Kibun Toy. Or you can try your own idea!
Last post from Hannah’s cottage. We are sure, this is the place. Cross our fingers that our product will match this great place.
Hannah Hannah, thank you!

My friend Anna, her boyfreind and their little Lilly is leavning their beautiful apartment. For something new. I’ve always loved their place. So soft kind of, calm and light. Their new place will be as nice I’m sure, but it was a bit sad to say goodbye today.
A beauty in Gothenburg, gamla Masthugget, two bedroom apartment (2:a) is for sale (will give you the link to the ad sales as soon as I got it).

Well, this will be the last post from this pleasant place. Don’t forget to take a peep at Lisa Marie’s dresses over at Up The Wooden Hills, and at her blog folks. Thank you for all Lisa Marie!
As said, Lisa Marie’s apartment is small, but well used and planned. And the interor, a nice mix of old and new. In the middle of the livingroom a work table with trestles, Artur from Ikea. The handy clothes racks called Mulig, are also from Ikea. Have to get a pair of these next time I’m Ikea visiting.
Can you see the cake. Tasted summer.
The animal drawings on the wall are made by Lisa Marie’s friend, Tovelisa. Next post, the last from Lisa Marie’s place.
No doubt that Lisa Marie is an aesthete. Her apartment, full of luscious flowers, artfully arranged vintage finds and beautiful handmade dresses hanging here and there. Even the scent in the apartment (the scent in someone elses home is always interesting, don’t you think?) was lovely.
Happy to see my Rebuild Square-print on Lisa Marie’s wall.

I went for another visit today. This time I was lucky enough to be invited to Lisa Marie, the designer behind the clothing label Up The Wooden Hills. (A label with lovely handmade dresses made by cotton fabrics from Liberty of London). Lisa Marie lives in a small beautifully decorated apartment in the center of Gothenburg. Here, the first peep!
The problem for me, with visiting inspiring places like Carina, Christian and Cesar’s is to stop. But this is is the last post from their apartment, at least for this time. Thanks for looking you who have, and thanks again (Tack!) to you Carina, Christian and Cesar for letting me in.
